Welcome to Foot Focus Podiatry. By accessing our website, booking an appointment, or attending our Dublin clinics, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.
1. Appointment Booking and Cancellation Policy
To maintain clinic efficiency and support all patients, we enforce the following scheduling rules:
- Booking Requests: Online booking requests are subject to clinical review and practitioner availability. Your appointment is only confirmed once you receive our official confirmation email or phone call.
- Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule, you must notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Failures to attend or cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled time may incur a cancellation fee.
- Late Arrivals: If you arrive late for an appointment, your treatment session may be shortened to avoid disrupting subsequent patients, and the full session fee will apply.
2. Clinical Treatment and Medical Consent
Before any podiatric assessment or procedure begins (such as nail surgery or laser therapy), your treating CORU-registered podiatrist will explain the process, potential risks, and expected recovery journey. Written or verbal consent is required prior to commencing clinical treatment.
3. Payment Terms
Payment for all consultations and treatments is due immediately at the end of the appointment. We accept cash, major credit/debit cards, and contactless payments at both Finglas and Mount Merrion clinics. We will issue a formal receipt which you can use to claim health insurance refunds where applicable.
4. Nail Surgery: Second Procedure
If a nail surgery procedure carried out at Foot Focus Podiatry is unsuccessful and the treated edge of the nail grows back, we will carry out a second procedure on that nail edge at no additional cost, subject to the following conditions:
- The treated edge of the nail grows back within six months of the date of the original procedure.
- The patient attended all scheduled dressing and follow-up appointments after the original procedure.
- The patient followed the aftercare instructions provided, including keeping the toe clean and dressed as directed.
- The toe has not been injured since the original procedure.
The second procedure is offered once, on the same nail edge.
5. Disclaimer of Liability
