Our Story

Foot Focus is owned and run by brothers Stephen and Mark Ryan. We're involved in the day-to-day running of every clinic, so the standard of care you receive is something we personally stand over.

Stephen and Mark both graduated with first-class honours degrees in Podiatry from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, but came to it by different routes. Stephen spent years with a recurring sports injury that other healthcare professionals couldn't fix. A podiatrist finally sorted it, and that experience set the course for his career. Mark started out in finance and realised it didn't match his drive to help people. Inspired by his brother, he went back to university to retrain as a podiatrist.

Both specialise in muscle and joint pain of the foot and ankle, whether from sport or everyday activity, and lead a team that goes the extra mile to get patients back on their feet.
